Mysore accident: PM Minister Modi announced compensation to kins of those who lost lives and the injured
The Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in the tragedies in Mysuru and Dhanbad. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000, prime minister office issued a statement in twitter.
Before this PM Modi has expressed his condolences over the death of ten tourists saying, "Deeply saddened to by the tragic accident in Mysuru, Karnataka. My thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones. Praying for the speedy recovery of those injured. The loss of lives due to a mishap in Dhanbad is extremely unfortunate. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for a quick recovery for the injured".
10 people, including children of the same family of Sanganakallu village, who had gone on a trip to Mysore, died in a terrible road accident near T.Narasipur.
The incident took place when the tourists were heading towards the Male Mahadeshwara hills from Mysuru. The ten tourists died after their car hit a private bus at a curve on the Mysore-Kollegal main road.
